Our Departments

Our Sheet Metal Fabrication Department includes an Amada 4000 Watt Laser Cutting Machine and Strippit & Trumpf CNC punching systems.  Our varied equipment enables us to fabricated parts and assemblies from a variety of materials to meet our customer’s requirements.  Materials include aluminum, steel, Stainless Steel, other metals and plastics.

 

Haas VF-4 Vertical Machining Centers are the foundation of our Machining Department.  Our skilled machinists utilize a variety of manual and CNC equipment for modifications, prototyping and production quantities an are capable of holding 0.005” tolerances.  Using FeatureCam software parts with complex surfaces can be readily machined.  CAD or solid modeling files can be directly loaded into FeatureCam’s system for tool path processing cutting lead-times and fabrication costs.

 

Our fully quipped Welding Shop has the capability to do Tig/Mig welding, spot welding, brazing & soldering processes.  Our certified welders meet the standards required for military, government and commercial products.

More Departments

In our Assembly Department hardware insertion is performed on Haeger Insertion equipment by our assembly crew.

 

Numerous Finishing Departments throughout the shop offer several finish services to complete your parts.  Mil-Spec wet or Powder Coat painting; applying primers, lacquers, enamels and polyurethanes.  Chemical Conversion coating processes are certified to MIL-DTL-5541.  We do Type 1, Gold, as well as, RoHs Compliant Type 2, Clear.  We can also passivate Stainless Steel to military and ASTM specifications; QQP35 Types 6 or 7 or AMS 2700 Methods 1 & 2.  Logos, informational notations and part marking via stencils, engraving or Silk Screening can be applied as a final touch.

 

Workmanship and quality are checked during all steps of the manufacturing process.  Prior to shipping all parts are thoroughly checked by our Quality Control Department Inspector making sure that completed parts meet all drawing specifications.
